Scared Of Chemical Exfoliation? Be No More! Here’s Why Chemicals Are Blessing For Your Skin.

SCARED OF CHEMICAL EXFOLIATION? BE NO MORE!
HERE’S WHY CHEMICALS ARE A BLESSING FOR YOUR SKIN.

Most people think of skincare in terms of moisturizing. Little do they know that exfoliation, on the other hand, is the finest approach to keep your skin fresh and vibrant. Exfoliation helps in the removal of dead skin cells, keeping pores clean and healthy. It can also help you seem younger by reducing acne, fine wrinkles, and other ageing indicators.
Exfoliation on a regular basis can help avoid clogged pores, which means fewer breakouts.
Exfoliating for a long time might boost collagen production. Collagen is essential for healthy, bright skin. The protein also improves skin elasticity, which helps to reduce the appearance of fine wrinkles and drooping.
There are two types of exfoliants on the market today: physical and chemical. They both technically do the same thing—remove dead skin—but they do so in very different ways. And you want to be sure you’re doing it correctly because exfoliating improves the absorption of serums, moisturizers, and other skincare products. It is typically achieved through the use of chemical exfoliants or physical exfoliants such as scrubs and microdermabrasion. Chemical exfoliants contain ingredients such as alpha hydroxy acids (AHAs) and beta hydroxy acids (BHA) that help to remove dead skin cells when applied topically. Physical exfoliants include scrubs, microdermabrasion, dermabrasion, and devices such as dermal rollers and dermaplaning brushes.

    PHYSICAL V/S CHEMICAL

Option one is Physical exfoliation: If you’re new to exfoliation, the obvious choice seems to be a physical exfoliant. These have been around for decades and work by wiping away the top layer of dead skin with a scrubbing substance like sugar or coffee. However, some skin types may find them excessively harsh, depending on the components. One of the best things about physical exfoliants is that you’ll probably notice a difference right after you rinse it off. Physical exfoliants do not provide a long-term advantage. They only operate on the top layer of skin and are a great choice if you need a quick repair or have neglected your skincare routine for a time. Physical exfoliants are not popular among dermatologists since they might cause micro-tears. Micro-tears are caused by sharp or jagged substances, which cause little tears in the skin.

Option two is Chemical exfoliation: We know it sounds all scary but it’s not. It’s just a different way of removing dead skin cells that’s actually kinder on the skin than physical exfoliants. Chemical exfoliation, which uses Alpha Hydroxy Acids (AHAs), Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs), or fruit enzymes to penetrate deeper into the skin, is more effective. This means that, while you may not notice a difference right away, these treatments are working hard to develop and maintain skin that glows all the time, not just in the hours following treatment. While physical exfoliation relies on the manual removal of skin cells, chemical exfoliation breaks

down the ‘glue’ that holds cells together, making it easier to wash away dead cells.

    ARE CHEMICAL EXFOLIATORS BETTER?

Physical and chemical exfoliants both have their own advantages, but chemical exfoliants provide the complete package! They not only bring to light a more radiant, smoother, and refined skin, but they also improve the skin’s overall appearance and feel with just one treatment.

Chemical exfoliators are suitable for all skin types and have benefits including moisturizing the skin and reducing pigmentation. They also go after outbreaks. Chemical exfoliants are gentler than physical exfoliants since they are less likely to cause skin damage. However, the effectiveness of the item is usually determined by the ingredients. A poorly made product will most likely not work, or it will work so well that it irritates your skin and causes uneven pigmentation and chemical burns.
Chemical exfoliants help in cell turnover by removing dead skin cells with the use of—wait for it—chemicals. Peels are chemical exfoliants that are fantastic for not just smoothing but also revitalizing the skin.

CHEMICAL EXFOLIATION IS A SAFE AND SIMPLE WAY TO ACHIEVE THAT GLOW!

Make sure you start slow and with a high concentration. To find the right exfoliating mix for your skin, start cautiously. Never use an item more frequently than recommended, and always get advice before layering items in the same application. You can gradually increase the rate at which you use a few products as your skin adjusts to exfoliation.
